Ingredients to make Avocado Cilantro Sauce
- Avocado: adds the perfect amount of creaminess.
- Garlic: just a few.
- Cilantro: a handful. Stems included. That’s where a lot of flavor is.
- Jalapeno: deseeded if you don’t want it spicy.
- Green Onions: optional but i love adding this.
- Olive Oil
- Greek Yogurt or Sour Cream
- Seasonings: salt & pepper
- Water: used to thin out the sauce.
- Lime Juice: adds brightness and helps balance the sauce.
How to make this Avocado Cilantro Sauce?
This sauce is super simple to make. Add ingredients to a blender and pulse until smooth. Slowly add in oil or water to thin out the sauce.

- 1 sprig green onion
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 2 cloves garlic
- salt + pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 chicken bouillon optional
- water use to thin
- 1 lime juice
- 1 jalapeno de-seeded. seeded if you want spicy.
